Social Distortion
My buddy Joe Gonzalez was kind enough to take me with him to Social D last night at the House Of Blues. We had a great time. This was the third time I have been fortunate enough to see the boys at this venue. I saw them back in the day in Hollywood about 1981 0r so at some run down old dilapidated dance hall with some other punk bands. I don't remember them that night, but my brother Roger says they were on the bill. He says we had a good time. Hell, in 1981 I ALWAYS had a good time.

Social D has always rocked the house. I fell into them growing up as a rebellious teenager and found that they spoke to me in some sort of way. Sorry I missed them, but I refuse to go to a show of the MYR HOB. I wonder what they were like back in the early 80's. I was one when you went to their show!
I love the band, but I don't like the MYR HOB. They will fleece you any way they can.
Social D remain one of my favorites.
The above comment was mine. I forgot to sign in.
Yeah, MYR HOB isn't what its cracked up to be. Shows are much better at Verizon Amp in Charlotte.
I hate the HOB. I wouldn't stand up that long to see Elvis and Jim Morrison. That being said, I love Social Distortion. Their cover of Ring of Fire is brilliant stuff.
