Five Years in Iraq

Today marks five years in Iraq. Five years in, and Bush is still trying to bullshit us. I am weary to the bone over this disaster. God have mercy on all the unfortunate souls who have been killed on the basis of lies. God help the brave kids that have been maimed and then shipped home, many of which come home to neglect and horrible or almost nonexistent medical care and follow through. And yet our fearless leader keeps on crowing about victory. How did this all go so dreadfully wrong? How do we reclaim any shred of dignity or self-respect as a nation again?
